Over the years we have worked directly with a wide range of technology developers in the wave, tidal and floating offshore wind sector, and such involvement has provided us with unique expertise in concept design activities, including early design reviews and design optimisation tasks. We have substantial experience in field testing, ranging from model scale to full-scale. Such experience has benefited from working with our clients in defining the model scale objectives, drafting tank testing programmes, identifying suitable test facilities and providing onsite support during testing. We also have unique experience in the design and planning of reliability testing programmes, namely for component specific, onshore trials. The development and assessment of fully coupled load models is at the core of our experience, from a numerical, experimental and prototype testing perspective. We can assist you across a wide range of stages, from initial model set-up to full-scale load and structural analysis.
